Description
This bench represents the Dunleath neighborhood. Artist Nico Amortegui from Charlotte was inspired by the Dunleath Neighborhood homes and their architectural elements. The front porch scene represents a friendly welcome – a place where neighbors might exchange fruits and vegetables from the community garden over conversation and ideas. It reflects the lively spirit and essence of community as Downtown Greenway visitors are invited to take a rest, connect with surrounding neighbors, or ease into a daydream.
