North Carolina Rail-Trails summer 2015 newsletter feature article:  ‘Atlantic & Yadkin Rail-Trail: Path to a bright future in Guilford County’ talks about the extensive trail system in Greensboro with over 90 miles of trail just in the Lake Brandt and Guilford Courthouse National Military Park area. Dabney Sanders, Project Manager for the Downtown Greenway says in the article: “Greensboro has a great trail system, but we lack connectivity to the urban core.’  This of course will change soon with design nearly complete, and public and private funding that is 100% secured for the north, east, and south sections of the Downtown Greenway 4 mile loop.  Click here to learn more about North Carolina Rail-Trails.
