The Downtown Greenway Programming Team has expanded, with the addition of two part-time staff members. Victoria Wiley and Sydney Danby started with the Greensboro Parks and Recreation department in late February 2025, both serving as Downtown Greenway Program Assistants. They join Chelsea Phipps, the City’s full-time Greenway & Gardens Program Coordinator, who oversees all programming, events, communications, and volunteers for the Downtown Greenway.
Victoria and Sydney will assist with program planning and facilitation, social media management, volunteer coordination, and general outreach regarding the Downtown Greenway. Welcome to the team!
