What inspired you to get involved with the Downtown Greenway?
Being able to help get Greensboro up and moving and healthy, which inspires me every day.

How have you played a significant role with the Downtown Greenway?
Well I’m the first Downtown Greenway Supervisor, and my crew gets up early in the morning (rain or shine) to make sure it’s open and ready for the public to enjoy.

Can you share your favorite memory about the Downtown Greenway?
I love to see when people come by on one of our guided tours to learn all about the history and public art.

What aspect of the Downtown Greenway are you most proud of, and why?
How inclusive and connected it is because the Downtown Greenway goes through 8 different neighborhoods and everybody has access to it.

What personally excites you most about the Downtown Greenway?
The collaboration with local partners, other City departments, and the City Council – and for me to be a part of this important project. I’m glad to be involved to help make Greensboro a better place.
