Curious about what is flying overhead? Join the Piedmont Bird Club for a leisurely walk through Morehead Park to learn all about the basics of birding. Gain valuable knowledge – and perhaps a new hobby – as you identify birds based on their colors, sounds, habitats, and more.

Please arrive to 475 Spring Garden Street a few minutes before the scheduled start time, and be sure to wear comfortable walking attire and footwear. We recommend dressing in layers, wearing a hat or sunscreen, and bringing a water bottle. Bring a notepad and pencil, and any binoculars or birding scopes that you may have; some will be available on-site for use. The are NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS available at this site. Participants must be at least 10 years old, and please do not bring your dog(s).
