Congratulations to our very own Downtown Greenway Project Manager, Dabney Sanders, who received a regional award. The 2025 Piedmont Legacy Trails Summit was recently hosted in Greensboro, bringing together 150+ people who work in the trails industry – including municipal planners, elected officials, professional designers, economists, programmers, volunteers and more. During the annual awards ceremony, Dabney was recognized with the “Persistence Award” for her hard work and tremendous dedication to the Downtown Greenway project over the years; a well-deserved award, indeed!
