Community Involvement

Volunteers and Staff for the Downtown Greenway have participated in various community meetings over the past 2 years, sharing information with citizens about Downtown Greenway plans. Some of those neighborhood associations and general organizations include:

General

Civic Clubs, Council of PTA’s, Garden Clubs, Greensboro Partnership, Action Greensboro Groundbreakers, Greensboro Neighborhood Congress, and University Roundtable.

Many organizations have become involved in efforts to make the Downtown Greenway a reality. Here are some of the nonprofit organizations, government agencies, schools and other groups that are throwing their support behind the Greenway:
