The first ever Downtown Greenway Restaurant Week was a huge success! Thank you to all of the supporters who came downtown to try some new restaurants and support the Downtown Greenway. 873 Downtown Greenway themed menu items were served at the 7 participating restaurants. Special thanks to 1618 Downtown, Crafted the Art of Street Food, Table 16, B. Christopher's Undercurrent, M'coul's, and LaRue for being part of this fun week of great food, good friends, and great support for the Downtown Greenway.
The first ever Wheels on the Greenway kid bike event was a huge success! We had over 75 kids, 35 skateboarders, and 150 in attendance! Click here to see all the photos from the event.

Four finalists for the Innovation Cornerstone (NE) will visit Greensboro to share ideas for the next cornerstone on the Downtown Greenway.
Each finalist will come to Greensboro for a 3 day visit and will participate in a public presentation of their work and public meeting to get feedback from the community. All public meetings will be at Action Greensboro (203 South Church St) from 5:30-6:30 pm. See public meeting schedule below.

Greenway volunteers were invited to an evening of food and music at the Gallery at Greenhill on December 9th. Trip Brown, co-chair of the Downtown Greenway Oversight Committee and volunteer since the project began 13 years ago was given an award that included a piece of the railroad track after the sale of Chandler Concrete in October 2014 for all his hard work on the project.
